====== Gamma-Ray Integrated Detectors (GRID) ====== ===== References ===== * GRID paper The GRID is a student-driven space-borne project with the goal to detect gamma-ray transients in the energy range of 10 keV to 2 MeV. GRID is composed of a constellation of CubeSats (with an all-sky coverage) deployed in low earth orbit. The scientific motivation(s) of GRID are: * Detection of gamma-rays associated with GW events * Network based GRB monitor (general purpose analyses) * Search/identification of Magnetars * TGFs * Training students how to develop, lead and organize within collaboration Below is a list of CubeSats launched as part of the GRID constellation. ^ Project name ^ Launch date ^ Orbit ^ | GRID-01 | 29/10/2018 | 502 × 519 km 97.4$^{\circ}$ LEO | | GRID-02 | 06/11/2020 | 457 × 467 km 97.2$^{\circ}$ LEO | | GRID-03 | 27/02/2022 | 523 × 550 km 97.5$^{\circ}$ LEO | | GRID-03 | 27/02/2022 | 523 × 550 km 97.5$^{\circ}$ LEO |
